gewi at sentosa

we met with geri at plaza singapura for lunch.. it was unscheduled.. she just called me asking kung may alam daw akong palabahan.. mahal daw kasi sa hotel.. it's per piece.. =S i offered for her to do her laundry at our place.. one problem though.. we dont have a drier.. soooo.. we just spent time chatting over lunch.. and then we had desserts at swensens.. =)

sunday.. sentosa day with gewi and her friends.. we were suppose to meet at 10am.. guess what.. yep! (haha.. as if i read you're mind =p) she wasnt there.. and worse, we accidentally saw her at the exit of the underwater world attraction.. at 2pm!

by the cable car terminal.. i can see the passengers from here.. nagbabakasakaling makita ko sila gewi.. i guess we were too early.. =p




naguubos ng oras by the beach.. =p

hehehe.. i told her when i saw her.. 'pano ba yan geri, di ako buyable e'.. tinawanan lang ako.. sabay akbay.. hahaha! she was like a kid trying to get out of trouble.. =p

she said they took one of the tour packages being offered by sentosa.. para daw mas mura.. sabi ko nga tapon nya na phone nya e.. mwahahaha! kasi i didnt know where and when we should really meet.. my pangga and i stayed on the beach.. and i ended up getting sunburn.. huhuhu.. =p o well..

when we saw gewi with her officemates.. she was freakin hungry na daw.. i really couldnt tell.. mwahahaha! she's soooooo thin kasi.. as always.. it's hard to tell if she's full or not.. =p we ate at the cafe near underwater world..


after lunch.. her friends took the bus going to the dolphin lagoon.. my pangga convinced gewi that we could walk to the lagoon.. hehehe.. by the beach.. and para naman di sayang yung pagmeet up namin with her.. hahaha! she walked with us *peace gewi* di ko lang alam how gewi found the walk.. tiring i bet.. =p i guess we'll have to wait for her own kwento.. =D

we went home after dropping gewi by the lagoon.. i sure hope she was still able to catch the full dolphin show.. =)

gewi, my pangga and i will have dinner tomorrow at hooters.. =D kaya lang di daw mahilig sa maanghang pla si geri =S *thinking* hmmmm.. hooters pa din! hehehe.. meron namang mild lang di ba beng.. mmmm!

then on sunday, we'll take gewi and her officemates (yata) to sentosa.. sama kayu? =)

note to self.. take the bus.. let gewi and her friends experience the cable car ride.. =)

good riddance!

i just got a call from my brother.. break na sila.. good riddance!

i wish i could say that to him when he called.. but he was crying and was so upset of what happened.. i just couldnt..

some of you may know the f*cking girl.. oh how i would love to kick her ass right now! pramis! grrrrrrrr...

my brother saw her with the other guy in their house (the girl's house) sh*t!

how can she do that?!?!? she's been cheating for months now.. and she admitted that right there and then.. with the other guy and all..

i never did like her.. i know she's a friend of yela and perhaps some of our kada as well.. (ingat kayu! i bet she's still playing some other people even as we speak (or write)..) so what?!?! she doesnt have a right to play with people..

why am i this mad? because.. because.. i was right! she was a bad person! ika nga ni duffy duck "you're despicable!"

there was this one time (at band camp.. hahaha.. nakuha ko pang magjoke.. o well) where she slept over at our house.. in MY room.. and guess what happened.. we lost 13k pesos.. the money was hidden in my room.. it was my younger bro's money.. which he was saving up to pay for a car.. the money was there before she came.. and when she left.. the money was gone.. ergo!?!?!

we didnt do anything about that.. not that we didnt want to.. but because we cant prove it with prints or stuffs like what CSIs do.. unfortunately, she got away with that..

my family has been nothing but good and accomodating to her.. inspite of what happened.. and then what does she do?!?!??! f*ck! excuse the language.. but im really really really mad! im trying my best not to call her.. para sa kuya ko.. lintek! she's not even pretty!!!!!!!

and to think that my brother was planning to ask her to marry him next year.. i just told him that at least he got to know who she really was (a two timing stealing b*tch!)..

she didnt even have the decency to be honest to my bro and tell him that their through before she begun her other relationship.. ok lang sana kung sinabi na lang nya ng maayos di ba.. anong magagawa natin kung ayaw na nya.. pero to cheat? that's just.. wrong!

grrrrrrr.. *sends a flying kick* kapal nya talga.. hinayaan nya pa kuya kong magprepare for their first year anniv this feb 25.. my brother was happy preparing their itenerary.. buying tickets to sagada and baguio and all.. what the f*ck was that about?!?! having fun with the perks of having two guys?! how can someone be that evil? how can someone bare the thought of playing with other people? di ba? di ba? how? *smoke coming out of ears*

again i apologize for the foul language in this post.. i just have to let it out.. =( *sniff sniff*

i pray that my brother would find the right person for him.. someone who would really love him.. someone for keeps.. *hugs bro*

as for that girl.. bahala na si Lord sa kanya..

the rings and other wedding to dos

ive been going through our list of to dos for the wedding..

my focus currently are:
1) to give the members of the entourage assignments.. hehehe.. *muah*

i gave them their initial assignments na.. *kiss ulit.. muah*

2) search for hotels where the 'on the day wedding preps' would be

3) check out possible honeymoon spots.. we've been eyeing el nido for months now.. but then something's keeping me from booking.. our wedding would be in august.. di kaya alunin kami sa beach nun.. hahaha! other suggestions? =D kahit el nido pa din first sa list ko.. *lol*

4) wedding bands! since we're here at SG, might as well look for a supplier here.. we went window shopping yesterday and kanina.. we checked out the 3 known jewellry shop here.. well, known to us at least.. *lol* dont know if there are other (better) stores..

we wanted platinum sana.. but we'll really go over budget if we go for that.. the rings would cost us $3600++ and it's not even that thick.. =S so this morning we went looking for white gold rings.. it'd cost us half the price for the pair.. which one? which one? for now, we're going for the white gold.. the plain design for oneal and the one with the diamond for me.. we still have a month to think it over.. 2-3 months would have to be alotted for the customization and purchase of the rings..

5) putting together the guest list.. hay, kay hirap! *hilo* the list from our side of the family is almost done.. yung sa pangga ko.. uhmmm.. no comment.. hahahaha!

well.. yun pa lang for this weekend.. hopefully id get more things done in the following days.. =) good luck sa min! (and sa mga ento namin.. hehehe) =D

baby bonus scheme

did you know that the prime minister of singapore came up with a baby bonus scheme to encourage higher birth rates.. (that's something that we dont need in our country where baby making has become some sort of a hobby instead of an act of love.. sad yeah, but true..)

i've seen it on television last week.. couples are being given reward for having their first born and for their fourth child as well..

the government wants to increase the fertility rate in the country.. to encourage couples to 'produce' more children.. apparently, financing and child care arrangements seems to be the main concerns of most prospective parents.. which i think is just about right since times are hard..

it's nice to know that their government is doing what they can to ease the problem of their citizens..

how i wish i could say the same for us... *lost in thoughts*

wedding songs

my pangga and i have been going through our list of mp3s to check which ones can be used for the wedding.. ive also browsed through a couple of sites for different song lists.. mahirap din palang magcompile ng list.. =S

i've read in a magazine last year that we should really listen to the songs that we intend to use.. there are some instances where the melody seems nice and you hear the word 'love' somewhere in the song.. but that doesnt make it a good song.. you may later find out that it's a song of love for someone leaving or much worse, dying..

we're after slow, kinda classic/jazzy songs.. why? coz we cant have a full band.. our ensemble right now consists of a pianist, flutist and guitarist.. hmmm.. vocalist? not yet sure kung sino..

i think i've to start continuing our wedding preps.. *freaking out*

ano pa ba? ano pa ba? hmmmm.. check ko list namin.. hehehe

any suggestions for the songs? =D

lion dance

we got a memo yesterday saying that we shouldnt be alarmed when we start hearing loud drums and cymbals.. coz at 1130am there'll be a lion dance in the office to spread luck to all..

tick tock tick tock.. it's almost lunch time but the lion dance performers are still not here.. =( i was pretty excited and curious about this tradition.. to see it up close and all.. *sigh* still no lion.. *sigh*

like a kid with a sad heart, i joined our friends for lunch at waraku, a japanese restaurant..

since there were 9 of us, we had an exclusive room to our group alone.. with this nice long table and japanese seats (is that how you call them? basta yung walang paa na seats pero may sandalan and cushion).. kewl! i get to eat for the first time in this way.. =D but when we sat, we noticed that there was a space right under the table that is big enough to stretch our legs.. pretty much like sitting in the normal way.. hehe.. daya! but it's ok coz you wouldnt have to worry about getting cramps.. =p

on our way back to the office, we passed by the mall (because that's the fastest way back).. and guess what i heard? =D heehee.. i tried to contain my excitement by walking with the group but my pangga could tell that i was really eager to get to where the sound is coming from because i was walking fast.. *lol*

and there it was! the lion dance.. not one, not two, but four lions.. i made a conscious effort not to look at the people (coz you can easily see them) under the lion and just imagine them in real full mascot costumes (like garfield and odie!).. they were sooo cute.. with the butt wiggling and blinking eyes.. the way they move reminds me not of a lion but of a dog.. hehehe..

i even had my pangga take a picture of me.. =D ill post it when i get it from our friend's camera..

there was this one picture where i was running away from the lion as it was biting my hair and chasing me.. hahaha!

here's a bit of history.. they say the lions play an important role in chinese mythology and that they represent joy and hapiness.. lion dances are performed to bring luck! (one of officemates told me to buy a lotto ticket as i received lots of luck from the lion in the mall.. she said 'luck would be biting you'.. =p)

since i got so much luck (daw.. hehe..) im sharing it to you guys! *showers luck luck luck luck luck luck luck luck* =D

trouble in paradise

in the news: angry crowd storms disneyland hong kong

hehe.. feeling reporter =p

saw it this morning in the bus' mobile tv.. a huge crowd was trying to break down the gates after the park closed and announced that it has reached its maximum capacity.. some have successfully climbed the fence and were literally diving in the sea of park staffs on the other side..

i guessed people are really fuming mad and frustrated to know that they couldnt enter the park after paying $38USD and traveling all the way to hong kong to spend their lunar new year holiday week.. couldnt blame them though.. id get p*ssed off myself.. hehehe.. but not to the point of joining the riot..

there are still a lot of places to see in hong kong (from what i remember).. hope people looks to this silver lining as there's nothing they could do.. they'd only end up getting hurt..

yeah, some may raise their eyebrows and think that it's easy for me to say this since im not personally experiencing it.. i know.. but ive had my share of disappointments in life (in whatever aspect) and ive learned that there's no use crying over things like that.. happiness is a choice and a state of mind.. you may choose to be happy or you may choose to waste you time over something you have no control of.. *bow*

gelato

in the bus, on our way to the office this morning, i got a glimpse of what was in the news.. aside from the local events and saddam's trial.. 'the art of gelato making'.. hmmm.. looks interesting.. =)

so i decided not to take my im-still-sleepy-it's-an-hour-ride-to-the-office nap yet.. it was just a short feature that they divided and showed little by little all throughout the news show.. i ended up not taking my nap at all.. bummer! =p

but i did learn something though.. hehehe.. gelato is the italian for ice cream.. but nowadays, gelato is often associated with that is smoother and more flavorful than the regular ice cream..

the particular store they featured is 100% fat free.. you can eat as much as your wallet can buy.. =p

in the ancient times.. gelato is simply snow with honey.. =D

the red packet

i started my would-be post yesterday to tell you guys about our long weekend =D but the upload of the photos are taking quite some time.. hehe.. ="> maybe tomorrow.. hehe..

about the red packet that i mentioned on my last post.. i actually got one! for real! =D our manager gave each of her staff a red packet.. how much? $28 SGD! not bad eh.. ;-) i can treat my self to a cup of raspberry tea frappuccino blended with whip.. and buy something else with the rest.. hahaha! just wanted to share how it was experiencing one of the local customs.. it's like christmas, 15 years ago, all over again! =D
