the rings and other wedding to dos
ive been going through our list of to dos for the wedding..my focus currently are:
1) to give the members of the entourage assignments.. hehehe.. *muah*
i gave them their initial assignments na.. *kiss ulit.. muah*
2) search for hotels where the 'on the day wedding preps' would be
3) check out possible honeymoon spots.. we've been eyeing el nido for months now.. but then something's keeping me from booking.. our wedding would be in august.. di kaya alunin kami sa beach nun.. hahaha! other suggestions? =D kahit el nido pa din first sa list ko.. *lol*
4) wedding bands! since we're here at SG, might as well look for a supplier here.. we went window shopping yesterday and kanina.. we checked out the 3 known jewellry shop here.. well, known to us at least.. *lol* dont know if there are other (better) stores..
we wanted platinum sana.. but we'll really go over budget if we go for that.. the rings would cost us $3600++ and it's not even that thick.. =S so this morning we went looking for white gold rings.. it'd cost us half the price for the pair.. which one? which one? for now, we're going for the white gold.. the plain design for oneal and the one with the diamond for me.. we still have a month to think it over.. 2-3 months would have to be alotted for the customization and purchase of the rings..
5) putting together the guest list.. hay, kay hirap! *hilo* the list from our side of the family is almost done.. yung sa pangga ko.. uhmmm.. no comment.. hahahaha!
well.. yun pa lang for this weekend.. hopefully id get more things done in the following days.. =) good luck sa min! (and sa mga ento namin.. hehehe) =D

hey janey! je and i had our honeymoon at EL Nido, august din. the water was as calm as a swimming pool's. =) dunno if we were just lucky, pero di naman maalon kahit na nung pauwi na kami.
about wedding bands, major consideration is that you will wear them everyday of forever. we went for the white gold set on yellow gold, it's pretty thick. but sure stands the wear and tear. =)
sabi ng mga thunders (elders), hindi tinatanggap sa sanglaan ang platinum. hahaha! what a criterion eh? =P goodluck!

ganon.. wlang value yung platinum sa sanglaan? i always thought that it was more precious than white gold.. hmmm..
syempre investment din ang jewelry.. so dapat tumataas din value nya in time di ba.. *confused*

ewan ko janey kung totoo yon, i didn't bother to find out if that's true, kasi ang mahal din ng titanium eh. parang unreasonable na. =P
binut, sabihin na nating praktical lang yung mga matatanda sa paligid ko. consideration sa kanila yon, hehehe! =P
jane, la nina this year. you may want to consider that for your honeymoon. magiging maulan daw talaga. kanina nga while in class, maaraw, tapos maya maya, umulan ng malakas na parang may storm. malabo na talaga ang panahon. :-O
