creative craze
when i got in this morning i told two of my officemates about the great bargain i got last saturday from creative.. then at lunch time i found out that a couple of them went to the creative store to take advantage of the current promotion.. one of them even bought 3 sets.. for christmas..
angeline passed by my area and ask me if i announced the promo since they were buying like crazy.. even the ones that already have an mp3 player.. i said that i just shared the news to the 2 youngest employee in the office.. hehe.. she said in doing that it was like telling the whole department about it.. hahahah! =D it's ok as long as they dont come running to me when the player doesnt meet their expectations.. =p
so i guess i wouldnt be the only one giving a review in a month or two.. =D

i just had a great weekend.. i should be refreshed and on the go.. but nooooooooooo.. =( ive been staring blankly at my pc for a couple of minutes now.. *sigh*
i know what my tasks are but i just couldnt get my brain cells to work.. and to think that this is the week prior to our live date.. =S
been drinking green tea and coffee but it hasnt helped.. yet.. maybe i should go around and bug people to kick start my day.. mwehehe.. =p

we're rolling out the 2nd release of the application we created next week.. and that means a looooooot of work.. o well.. it's not like it's anything new to me.. hehe..

my pangga and i went for a movie date yesterday.. after having our hotcake and sausage breakfast at mcdo.. =p
movie.. the prestige. it's a story about the dangerous rivalry of two magicians.. rivalry which eventually led to obsession, deceit and revenge..
the title of the movie was taken from one of the terms used by magicians..
they said that every magic act has three parts.. first, something ordinary is presented (like a bird and a cage).. second, something extraordinary happens (the bird disappears).. and lastly, 'the prestige' (reappearance of the bird), which completes the magic and sends the audience mystified..

after watching 'the prestige', we went home to watch 'cars'.. =D it's a weekend anyway.. might as well make the most out of it.. we'll do our chores tomorrow.. heehee..
the graphics were great.. some scenes look almost like the real thing..
the movie was about an arrogant, self-centered rookie race car who had an unexpected side trip along route 66 when he fell from his trailer and got in trouble with the law for speeding.. this brought him to the old, forgotten town of Radiator Springs where he learns about life and what truly matters.. =)
it's a feel good movie with a lot of unique and entertaining characters.. my personal fave was the french uhmmm sort of a car (i dont know what kind of vehicle he was) who changed McQueen's (the lead race car) tires during the final race.. his dialogue was very little but i find him so cute and funny.. =D
next movie on my list, ice age 2!

would you say that purchasing a 6GB mp3 player for $150SGD is a good buy? i think so.. =p that's why i bought it.. ehehe..
i gave my mp3 player to my bro last year.. so ive been using my phone to listen to music for half a year now.. ive to remember not to use up the battery though, coz that would render my phone useless (well, temporarily)..
i bought the zen neeon yesterday.. that's the only player on sale that seems worth buying.. other players with the same price goes up to 2GB only..
ive read a couple of reviews about the player.. a couple of goods ones but most of them are not so good.. but with the price, im willing to take my chances =p i'll post a review in a month or two and let you guys know ;)

metal grin
after 26 years im finally getting my 'metal grin' (as beng calls it).. it's only now that i have been able to save enough to get one.. =)
the brackets were placed last night as well as the wires and rubbers that will help place a bit of space in between my molars.. i think it's to prep my teeth for saturday when she puts in the molar bands and.. uhmmm.. i dont know how to call it.. the wires that will connect the brackets? =">
it hurts like hell! ='( and it's not even complete.. what more when she puts in the rest on saturday.. *sigh* the things i endure to get that 'perfect' smile.. hahaha!
my pangga took a picture of me when the dentist was placing the brackets.. i kinda looked scary with that dental equipment on my mouth.. the one that helps open your mouth to the biggest it can be stretched.. hahaha! so i wont be posting it.. =p
selecting kodak moments
it's been almost 2 months since our wedding.. and still have one more wedding to do.. the wedding album picture selection!
we stayed home most of the day yesterday and i thought 'hey, i can start selecting the pictures and i can have it done before the day ends' =)
i created a spreadsheet guide so that i can select pictures by sequence of events.. i will kill myself if i forget to include a picture where we say i do or where we released the doves! kinda paranoid.. but better paranoid than come up with an incomplete selection.. =p
by 4pm my hands were numb and my eyes were tired.. and im just half way through! 100+ out of 250 pictures.. kala ko mabilis lang..
so i guess i have to continue next sunday.. mwahahaha.. im sooo lazy.. =p *sigh*

by the way, gewi (with her pangs) and regi dropped by last saturday.. si anshe di nakadating.. may sakit e (hope she's feeling better now).. =(
we had fun catching up over pizza, chips and softdrinks.. each of us has our own funny stories to tell.. sumakit nga tyan ko kakatawa lalo na sa mga SG experiences ni gewi.. i cant give justice to the stories.. might as well have gewi tell it to you when you guys meet..
they stayed until 11pm lang coz they needed to catch the last train back to their place.. =(
we said next time it'll be over some pulutan and beers.. hahahaha! para mas masaya ang kwentuhan! =D
