tidbits

as you guys might have noticed, ive been posting our wedding story through pictures.. i find it a lot easier.. hehe.. =)

ill put the story in writing in the weekends maybe..

im being bombarded with project tasks since i got back.. especially now that it's my teammate's turn to take a whole week of vacation leave..

ill be very busy in the next couple of weeks.. i just hope ill still find time to update you guys.. =S anyway, ive done it before.. hehehe.. what's the diff right? =p

was able to talk with jay and zced.. sa wakas!

jay is doing ok in his studies.. working in the morning (his pending jobs back home) and studing from 7-10pm.. reena (not sure about the spelling) is with him.. havent met her though.. maybe tomorrow at lunch..

just talked with zced.. ayun, nagbubuhay baboy daw sya.. hehehe.. staying at the fullerton (o ha!) with luisa.. again havent met his better half.. i think luisa is here for work and zced tagged a long to unwind..

the.. uhmm.. 6 of us (might be 5 if luisa cant make it) will meet tomorrow and have lunch at suntec.. and hopefully have dinner before zced goes back home..

will post pixs of us pag meron na.. =)

the preparations

august 12, 2006. saturday. 4AM.

i was still trying to rest my eyes when *ding dong* who, what, where, huh? angie and ogie (with another makeup artist) arrived at my hotel door 30 minutes earlier than their call time..

the preparation begins..

eto kami early in the morning.. ngarag and all.. getting our hair and make up done.. syempre pa, una sa pila ang bride! =p ive to be ready before the photographers arrive..

christine and her fellow out of the box coordinators came in at 430 followed by the photograhers at 5am..

august 11, 2006

august 11. a day before the wedding.

reservations at the richmonde hotel? check. ceremonial and unity candles? check. call time of suppliers and ento members? check. bible? bible? where's the bible?!! bible? there it is!

ive a longer checklist that day.. =p every bride has one! making sure everything is in place..

plans of who would be sleeping over in the hotel changed a lot.. in the end it was only tenten, netnet and i.. =S

getting some Zs was pretty hard seeing as how restless i was.. hahaha.. =p still thinking of things to do even if our coordinator told me to hand over everything to them.. even the worries daw.. kaya nga daw sila nandoon.. i slept around 9 or 10pm, woke up at 1am and stayed up until it was time for me to bathe..

and so our day begins.. =)

i've so many things to tell you guys after being out for almost a month..

but right now, im just plain sad.. sad that the vacation is over.. sad that we're once again far from the people we love..

after the wedding

so much things to tell.. so little time and uhmmm actually internet connection.. hehehe.. cant even upload the pixs i got from mhel mhel.. =(

ill give you guys a full blow by blow when we get back to singapore on the 25th.. ;-) we'll be getting the proofs of the pixs today.. =D ill upload some if the connection will allow it.. ehe.. =">

thanks to everyone who made it our special day and to everyone who sent their warm regards.. =) appreciate it sooo much.. *hugs* sa mga hindi nakarating.. ive yet to find out why.. hmpft! =p ehehe..

the fact that the wedding and all the preparations are d-o-n-e, done, is still sinking in.. so this is how monica felt in one of the F.R.I.E.N.D.S episode.. where she said she was no longer a bride.. =S *sigh*

we'll be on our way to el nido tomorrow!!! *wink wink* hahahaha!

7 days to go! updates! updates!

been buzy buzy for the past few days.. ever since i got back from sg.. been going from south to north and back.. phew! kapagod!

updates! updates! let's see..
- was able to pay the reservations for our rooms at richmonde
- then off to fit my gown.. i lost weight daw! =S and to think i went on a southbeach diet before i went home coz i know, im sure, i gained weight.. tsk tsk..
- met with coordinator at eastwood starbucks.. come to think of it.. i havent been to that part of eastwood yet.. i didnt know that there's some sort of mall inside.. hahaha!
- bought accessories.. i still need to buy the unity candle, bible?, party poppers ba yun and clothes & accessories ni mister
- i have shoes na.. was going for a 3 inch heel but i was only able to find shoes with 2 that matches my gown.. that'll do.. hehehe.. i guess.. i look a bit taller in my gown naman.. hahaha!
- bought sun block for the honeymoon.. uhmmm.. actually yun lang for the honeymoon.. mwehehehe *grins*
- el nido? check! got the itenerary and tickets! =D *sings "im so excited! and i just cant hide it!"*
- been wrapping gifts for the primary sponsors and members of the ento.. today ill be wrapping the 100++ souvenirs..
my sore fingers.. huhuhu.. wrapping the souvenirs is a bit more complicated than i thought.. coz ill be making the bags from scratch.. i have my abaca sheets, twine, glue gun, elmers glue, stapler, puncher, lace..

grabe! home eco 101 ulit.. home eco nga ba yun.. yung kay mrs. puzon?

ive to come up with several options on how to wrap it, have it approved by my mom and bro.. and now i have my prototype, i can proceed with creating a hundred more..
- no bridal shower.. people are busy..
- yesterday we went to qc to have the defective souvenirs replaced and bought some extras coz my mom insists that we have some for the guests that will be coming to our place.. we'll have a small gathering the day after the wedding for relatives and friends that we wont be able to accomodate in fernwood..
- after qc.. we went to eastwood.. *again* this time for the food tasting.. i have my bro and my dad followed an hour after.. according to them food was great.. my only request was for my steak to be well done.. =p even if they say that steaks get a bit harder when well done, id rather have that than see blood on my food.. =p hehehe.. i hope our guests will like the food as well..
- we'll have melissa litao for our emcee.. i havent met her yet.. dont know when ill be able to.. basta it's before the wedding, that's ok with me.. anyway, ive already made a draft of her would-be script (months ago) should she need any.. =D
- tomorrow.. my pangga will be coming home!!! =) we plan to have our haircut.. and get our much deserve massage in the evening.. haaaay..

yesterday, we needed to commute to go to qc for the souvenirs and eastwood for the food tasting..

how i miss the transportation system in singapore.. *sigh*

we waited for half an hour by sm bicutan for a cab.. and as expected when we got in front of the line.. the cabs didnt want to get us to magallanes.. the usual excuses etc.. haaay.. bawal yun dapat e..

my bro and i decided to walk to the 'bus stop' near the toll gate.. and i was paranoid the whole time.. pano ba naman.. sabi ni kuya 'ingat ka sa bag mo, may apat na snatchers banda dyan'.. yikes! how can i NOT be paranoid.. nakakunot noo ko all the way to the 'bus stop' trying to look as masungit and tough as i can.. hahaha!

we got to magallanes mrt eventually.. pagdating naman sa mrt.. im still in my paranoid state.. everyone who looks at me gets a burning stare till they look away.. hahaha! you guys might have laughed if you saw me..

i dare not touch my cellphone nor my wallet.. by the way.. i got my bro's 2100 phone so as not to draw attention.. didnt wear any accessories.. nothing, not even my engagement ring! our contact person at josiah's catering was looking for it nga.. anu daw nangyari sa ring ko.. ehe..

grabe! i dont remember commuting to be this hard.. hahaha! o well.. maybe im just a tad bit more paranoid than usual.. =p

all my couzins, on the father side, will be going to bora or bohol a couple of days after the wedding.. di kami makakasama ni pangga.. =( we'll still be in palawan that time..
