it's been ages since i last wrote.. teehee.. guilty.. =pas some of you may know.. a lot has happened the past few months.. but things are starting to settle down and hopefully i can get in touch with my inner blogger again.. hehehe..

i got my very first car this May!!! yey for me! =D
though i cant see the hood, the car still works for me.. =p i can drive it as needed.. from point A to point B.. =p im not that good of a driver yet as i can only drive from our place, to work, and back.. no changing of route, whatsoever, as that's gonna be a problem even though i have a GPS!
there were instances during my practice drive when garmin would say 'left on something street' and i, having missed some of my batibot episodes, went the other way.. *lol* yup! i needed to practice a couple of times over one weekend to know my route to work.. =) but mind you, i drive 2 highways on my way to work.. *pats myself on the back* hahaha!
i'll post a picture of arby once ive downloaded it from my pangga's phone.. =)

at work, i haven't seen any other filipinos yet.. which can be either good or bad, some say.. i dont really know..
it's true though that people here are busy with their own personal lives.. work is work.. no casual chitchats during work hours or huddles during lunch.. they very much keep to themselves.. it's a very different environment from the other jobs i had.. that's probably coz the culture here is different from the one i got used to in manila and sg..
i asked one of my teammate what they do outside of work.. and she said they go out to lunch together every 3 weeks (which is kkb by the way).. and that's it.. no movie night, kareoke, picnic at some beach, office presentations (where you get to make a fool of yourself), etc..
life, it seems, at the workplace is simple.. or is it too simple? i've yet to comment on that..

last weekend was memorial weekend.. we spent those 3 days with 20 other relatives at wisconsin dells.. yup! all 22 of us!
there were a lot of water parks as well as other activites that you can do such sa go-carting and horseback-riding.. but the weather was a bit crazy so most of the time we were at the indoor water parks.. the only activities we did outside were the duck tour and the upper dells boat tour..
on each tour, every group gets to have their picture taken with a backdrop of a scenery.. imagine all 22 of us trying to fit in the frame.. in the end, you cant even tell what's behind us! =p
on the last day, we dropped by a cheese store.. i've never seen that many variety of cheeses! apparently, wisconsin is known for their cheese.. i didnt buy any though.. i just watched as my cousin and aunt bought bags of cheeses =)

today.. im at work.. at 5 ill be heading to a microsoft seminar.. and that'll be the first time i'll be driving off my usual route.. wish me luck! *prays prays prays* =D

work life dito sa US, yeah, pretty much like that. i was fortunate to be in a group of guys who are into billiards, so i joined a tournament. but even then, iba pa rin bonding sa pinas. *sigh*
