malaysia.. truly asia..

here's our weekend in colour.. =D we spent it with two other couples - jorel & celeste, michelle and x..


met up at the train station at 9pm.. @ the tanjong pagar railway station 1.28.2006.. the train left kinda late.. we thought it would leave by 10pm as indicated on the ticket.. o well.. we hardly noticed.. =D

just got off the train at 6am.. malaysia here we come! =D


we tried to book our tickets back to singpore just to make sure that we DO get tickets.. dont wanna be left behind now do we.. =D but i guess we're too early..


we're purchasing our very first mrt cards after we had our dollars changed to ringgit.. where to?

all smiles! (kahit bangag!) holding up my visitor's pass to the bridge between the two towers.. the bridge is located on the 41st and 42nd floors.. in total, each tower has 88 floors..

at last.. the skybridge!.. we rode an elevator that can carry 26 people at one time.. and it's fast too.. we got to the 41st floor in 41 seconds.. now aint that fast.. =D

we spent some time in the park around the towers.. had our breakfast in the foodcourt.. then back to the mrt station to figure out how to get to our hotel..
we were suppose to take a cab when we got down on the last station.. however, like most cabbys, they dont wanna use their meter.. perhaps hoping that we'd be stupid enough to bite.. na-ah.. ayaw nyo, wag nyo! =p we took the bus.. and it's not as bad as i thought it would be.. we just waited for 15 minutes tops and paid RM.50 only..



here's a panoramic view of our hotel.. the sunway lagoon resort hotel.. what's great about this hotel is that there's a theme park beside it.. with pools, ( huge pools.. both for swimming and surfing.. yep! surfing! with man made waves!) and slides and rides (including the ride pretty much like the anchor's away in enchanted kingdom.. only this gives people the 360 degrees ride.. gulp!)


after a tiring day, the couples.. hehehe.. us.. had dinner at the manhattan fish market.. yummy! all of us ordered the seafood platter which is the best way to taste a little of everything.. =D


and what better way to end the evening than to hang out and have a cup of coffee at the coffee bean..

funny enough, when we got to our hotel room.. all of us were sound sleep in a couple of minutes.. and some of us even had double expresso.. lol!

in the morning we had breakfast at delifrance.. mc donalds do not serve their usual breakfast meals in malaysia.. well at least in the place where we stayed.. =(

we only had a couple of hours to go around the mall just in case we wanted to go shopping (my pangga and i didnt buy anything except for a bottled water for our ride home..no shopping.. we were there purely for the experience)..


by 130pm we were on our way to the bus station.. this time we are taking the bus back to singapore.. a 6 hour ride.. with 1 pit stop for a few minutes rest.. and 2 others for the immigration in malaysia and singapore.. =)

by 830pm we're back in singapore! and had our last dinner for the weekend =D Here's the photo album from mich's and from our own camera.. =)

next on the agenda.. (maybe in a couple of months or so.. hehehe..) thailand! *wishes hard*

nice!!! one train ride lng from singapore to malaysia. i dont know my geography. hehe
sana makapagtour din ako! away from this island. hehe

harbz, u remember our supposed-to-be asian tour? la lang. hehe

in second picture.. notice were pointing to a map.. sa map na yun we saw that we could go to thailand from malaysia.. naglolokohan nga kami to go there na din.. hahaha! o di ba.. if we can only had time.. and enough money.. mwahahaha!
