mustafah and chinatown
8am. gotta wake up coz we have along day ahead of us.. by 10am we were at bras basah.. right on schedule =)we decided to power up first at mcdonalds.. we each got the hotcake and sausage meal (3 hotcakes, 1 sausage, 1 hasbrown and a cup of coffee).. then off to the popular store.. it's their national bookstore here.. if i am not mistaken, this is biggest branch.. it was a warehouse of supplies..it was heaven for us looking for DIY stuffs for the wedding..
by 12noon we were at starbucks waiting for loi and her son.. she'll be taking us to mustafah.. it's a big mall near little india where you could buy anything from cookies to gadgets at discounted prices.. =D
we were able to buy our gifts for our principal sponsors.. they're these cute, one of kind chinese tissue holder.. ill post the pictures later.. =D at first we didnt know what they were because it just said decorative item on the tag.. =p
then off we go to chinatown for lunch and some more shopping!
my pangga was able to find his gifts for the male members of our entourage.. another item to check off in our list of to dos.. i was having so much fun! =D
but then, after just 4 stores, my pangga said that we should leave already.. =( *bummer*
i hated to go in the middle of our shopping spree.. but we were gonna go swim at 5pm.. *sigh* this was the first time i didnt feel like swimming.. hehehe..
we swam until 7 pm then headed home.. our muscles were sore from walking and swimming, that my pangga and i decided to take a cab home.. we usually take the bus coz it's a lot cheaper.. =p
so there you go.. one tiring weekend.. tomorrow.. RENT! =D woohoo!

sabi nila, avoid swimming pag pagod na ah. mas prone daw sa cramps. is that true?

nawala train of thought ko nung nakita ko comment ni harbs. hehe. nag-isip daw ng sagot. hmm ... di ko alam, to tell you honestly, what causes cramps. 2x lang ata ako nagka-cramps and di naman yata ako pagod those two times it happened. So, the answer is, "I don't know." Sori! *blush*
So, how was RENT, MaJane?
Oh, I forgot to comment sa isang blog - Phantom of the Opera is one "wicked" (feeling Brit) show! Galing all aspects of it - set, costume, singing, songs, etc.
oo nga daw e.. from what ive heard.. hope to watch it din.. hehe.. someday.. =)
