office event
waaaah! i have butterflies in my stomach..
at 130, we'll be having this office event.. like a quarterly gathering of some sort.. and all the newbies were divided into four teams..
each of the team will be doing a presentation.. waaaah!
im not really expecting for us to win.. i just hope everything goes well.. that we wont get all nervous and mess up our presentation.. =S *nail biting*
got to go! wish us luck! =) *cross fingers*
elow.. just updating my blog.. with everything that happened on our office offsite..
we didnt win.. =( but twas ok.. oh who am i kiddin.. most of us were kinda dissppointed.. the team that we least expected to win, won.. how? we dont know.. perhaps coz we're in a different country.. so different standard.. different expectations.. hehehe.. just needed to share it..
our team (Jerilee, Wen Jin, Moi, Kiat Fatt, Rizza, Allvina, Arnold and Ramesh but he was cut out of the frame =S) with our costume or what's left of it.. ehehe..
but aside from that.. the whole event was great all in all.. we all had fun!!!
our team won the charades game.. we almost won the name that tune song.. i got eliminated early on the musical chairs game.. =p i was kinda surprise to see myself being so makulit and maingay.. ="> hyper ako sobra! too much sugar i guess.. hahaha! =p
the event was held on one of the ballrooms of the raffles town club.. after the presentations and games.. we proceeded to the bar of the club.. where the awardings took place..
there was also a free round of drinks c/o our big boss.. =D
there was a stage for the band.. but no one was playing.. so they just played a couple of songs..
we got to dance the macarena.. well, the filipinos at least.. kami lang ang game e.. hehehe.. namiss ko tuloy ang kada when we were just in college.. we would start dancing to get everyone dancing as well.. haaay..
the big boss danced the swing with two female coworkers.. =) nayz!
then there came a group of musicians who serenaded all of us.. we requested for them to sing a filipino song.. and they sang.. the.. hmmm.. 'may pumukol sa pipit, sa sanga ng isang kahoy'.. dont really remember the title anymore.. hehehe.. but we all sang with them.. and they sang it well given that they were locals and not really filipinos.. =D
after the drinking, dancing and singing.. it's time for dinner!
just across the street.. was a chinese restaurant that was reserved for our department.. we had the traditional chinese dinner where the food are served one by one.. they would place the next viand only when we're done with the one on the table.. daming food! i think it was seven dishes or so.. =)
this was a fun fun event! i got to interact with most of our officemates.. make them laugh.. laugh with them.. converse with them.. play with them.. do the wave with them.. brag and do some trash talk with them during the games.. sing and dance with them.. have pictures taken with them.. and lastly.. had a heartful dinner with everyone! =D

hehehe! sounds like fun! damn, i miss the dancing too. ang kakapal ng mga mukha natin na mauna sa dance floor, hehehe! =P
