a chicago night in sg
remember the mp3 player i was 'bragging' (ehehe) about last weeked.. well, it suddenly stopped working last wednesday.. it just wouldnt turn on.. nasira tuloy araw ko.. when i got to work, i called the mall and they said i can have it replaced.. then the following day, when im suppose to return it.. it worked again.. =Sbut i dont wanna take chances.. the player was kewl and all.. but if it breaks down again when my seven-days-to-return is up.. my pangga will kill me.. hehe.. well, maybe not kill.. but disappointed with the fact that it was money wasted..
so i decided to have it replaced with a different brand (SSF-3100).. an international one.. the former was a locally manufactured.. =)
it's just like the first one.. minus the video.. though this one has 50hrs of playback compared to the 10hrs of the first one.. there are certain trade offs.. but that's fine by me.. =)
the mall was at clark quey.. (pronounced daw as 'clark key') a few steps away is the line of gimmick places by the river.. it was sooo much kewler at night.. ive been there once during the afternoon.. it has much more life.. =D
it reminded us of chicago.. *sigh*
i miss chicago.. i dont like the cold (very cold) weather during winter.. but still i want to live there.. if not in this lifetime.. maybe in the next..
we decided to stroll and syempre.. dinner! =D
we went to... HOOTERS!
20 pcs hot hot chicken wings.. with side orders of blue cheese and celery for me.. and cheese fries for my pangga.. yummy! (and since it's spicy.. we much have lots of drinks.. a water and 7up for me.. and 2 rootbeers for my pangga)
this is what we'll actually be doing if we were still assigned in chicago.. *sigh*
if you've been to hooters.. you'll know that they are famous for their chicken wings.. and of course.. for their female servers with big.. uhmmm.. b**bs.. =p wearing short shorts and tight white tops.. with very loooow neck lines.. thus, the name H**ters =D
but the female population here in sg are not so.. let see.. well endowed.. hehehe..
so ang gimmick nila is.. hoola hoop! two of them would perform certain routines with the hoop.. ending it with one of them throwing 15 hoops to the other..(two or three at a time) while the other one is shaking her butt off to keep the hoops from falling.. hehehe! so far.. the people liked it.. im just not sure if its enough to compensate for what they are 'missing'.. hahaha!
twas fun spending the night with my pangga.. a la chicago.. =)
we'll definitely be back in that place.. at the most.. hahaha! once a month.. coz we spent $50 for that great dinner.. =p

hehehe! i looove Hooters chicken wings! pero na-try ko yung 911 sauce nila, halos maiyak ako sa anghang! =P
trivia... did you know na yung first ever Hooters store can be found here in Florida? sa Clearwater, lapit lang sa amin. dadalin kita don janey pag binisita mo ko dito. ;-)
