..sabi nila'y Pilipino
there's a mixture of nationalities here in the office.. with that comes the different languages being spoken by each group..
it's funny how we tend to speak our national language more while in the office.. for us filipinos, not just our usual tagalog but rather the tagalog words that will make you sound like balagtas.. =p
i was in the washroom when a group of filipinos got in.. they were discussing something about their bosses..
afraid that someone will here them.. specifically the person in the last cubicle (which is moi.. hehehe), they spoke in tagalog which was quite amusing.. hahaha! coz they were grasping for words.. trying to say the deepest tagalog word they know in an effort not use any word that might still be connected to english.. like proseso still sounds like process.. i can here them saying something like.. 'ang mga pinuno natin, nagtatalo-talo tungkol sa pamamaraan ng..'
i knew they were waiting for me to get out of the washroom so that they can speak freely.. but since i knew who these ladies were.. i intentionally stayed a bit longer to listen to them.. hahaha!
when i got out.. sabi nila.. 'kaw lang pala! nagkabalu-baluktot na dila ko kakatagalog!' =p

i agree. ganyan din ako dati. pagkausap ko yung isa pang pilipino sa dorm, at ang pinag-uusapan namin ay ang american roommate ko, lumalalim ang tagalog ko. i don't say kakwarto (because cuarto is room in spanish, and my roommate, i think took spanish in highschool). i say kasilid. hahaha. so see, i was careful with my tagalog words, which not only sounds "english" but also "spanish." :-O
