btw, you are only trashing Kat coz you know you CAN'T trash Taylor, oh no, he's a good guy. nobody trashes the good guy and comes out glorious. ;-P and now that your Elliot's home, probably watching AI reruns of his past performances, of course, it goes without saying that you go after the one "who got him beat".

well, for a guy who NEVER had a training, NEVER had a CD, NEVER had an exposure, NEVER had that star appeal and NEVER had a chance, I think it was pretty decent to get to where he was at, he went even farther than the guy who was supposed to win it .. =)
and of course, how can anyone diss Talyor? everyone knows you should always pay respect to your elders ... grandpa hicks might kick the bucket if he gets scrutinized you know .. he might even bellybop you with that big tummy .. ooh .. what a scary thought ... =p

I mean, no one could find anything to scrutinize against him, that's why they always bring up the physical appearance, but talent and personality wise? elliott would run circles around those two .. and from this, looks like you already knew that Kat wasn't one of the good guys .. well, good for you ... and yeah, just seeing the homecoming videos just show who the "real winners" are ... c'mon, high school gym? not even a real enough place for an adult? geesh, wonder if all her concerts are gonna be held on high school gyms around the country ... hope she brings that yellow dress ... that would be the winner for the kids .. hope she doesn't get detention though ... ;-)

and yeah, i think kat can be a real bitch at times. that's why i like her! =P you gotta have that certain diva-attitude to survive the industry, y'know. or maybe even US in general. ;-)
"who the real winners are"... such a heavy phrase to use if you are judging based on the homecoming. the votes ARE the determining factor for who the real winners are. it also means to say, that kat was able to touch people from across states to win them as fans, not just because the town where she grew up wants someone to bring them pride if they win. she was just unfortunate not to have the town back her up on her homecoming. you know why? because arnold schwarzenegger is the governor. hahaha! =P mister terminator is too busy managing his own stuff to care.

for the numbers, yeah, they don't lie, just manipulated =p the theory right now why the tally is so close is because the phone lines were maxed out ... 33,33,33 just shows that no matter how many people try to dial in, the limit would be the threshold for 3 lines, 2 hours, which all of the lines got for the night ... they're saying that the major difference that affected the result of the voting was text voting since there's no limit to how many text msgs can be recieved .. makes sense really ... funny though, when asked in the forums, it seems that no one really knows for sure who votes for kat ... maybe kids, who are more active in texting, really liked her ... nasty little pervs .... mwehehehe =p
where's the trash talk there? i was expecting a saucier comeback on my saucy comments! hehehe! =P
anyways, ok, on with the more normal conversation for now. i was surprised to see the small margin between the votes, we were expecting to see taylor with a bigger margin because we never got through any of his 3 phone lines that night. maybe it's true, texting made the diff.
and, kaya gising pa ko ng madaling araw, kasi nanood kaming tv, it's weekend eh! ;-) hayyy, monday na naman bukas. but i can't wait for tuesday! =D

i did say he had a chance at middle earth idol, diba? i think i was being more than gracious for that. elliot's personality.. that's what confuses me really, how anyone could be endeared with that. he has excellent vocals, i could give him that (never mind the OA vibratto).. are you guys charmed by him? do you want to hug him and squeeze him til his eye balls pop out? stare at him for hours because you are so enthralled by his presence?
taylor doesn't remind me of my grandpa..the soul patrol cult thinks he's the sexiest man, lookalike to George C. bwahahaha.

ang although you hate kat gewi, i still love you and taylor. nyahaha! =P whoever wins, i'm aaaaall good dawg! di na nga kami boboto eh, baka kasi magsisi kami whoever turns out to be the real winner.
I didn't really watch AI all throughout this season, although I know who Elliot, Taylor, and Kat are. I'm impressed at the length of the comments for such a short post by Jane. Hehe. :-)

"An odd thing will happen on American TV if and when – and I hope it doesn’t happen – Taylor Hicks wins the American Idol title this week. The guy is all show (but only fit for a elephantine burlesque), but no talent.
What’s strange is that he has a lot of followers – females mostly who think he looks like George Clooney with his gray hair. If you ask me, he looks more like Jay Leno.
I hope it’s Katherine McPhee who wins. The girl sings well and is lovely – actually Hollywood pretty. But I’m afraid it’s this Hicks guy who’ll make it.

in fairness to taylor, and even though i'm a KatFan, he's talented and he's the only one who can sing realllly low notes and the words are still understandable. take bucky or paris, who eat the words at that range.
but who knows? america votes! could i just say at least it's not chris, then we can all live in peace? mwehehe!

I guess many can relate to elliott's humble-shy-down to earth personality ... the "underdog" feeling ... Taylor also worked for what he has right now but imagine a guy who has to do what Taylor did and he has a lot more obstacles to face ... even with that, he is still very humble and passionate for other people ... one article I read even related that one time, Elliott just collapsed in a store and when he was brought to the hospital, the first thing he said to his mom on the phone is he can't remember where he parked the car ... imagine having all the problems he has and still not be a bitter person? cool right? =)
hehe ... exactly what I thought about Taylor .. .george clooney - jay leno mix up .. more of jay leno though cause they have the same build .. but he still reminds me of a certain muppet character ... I don't know uh.... "it's" name though ... hehe ...
