random thoughts
AI - my pangga has all of the songs that elliot yamin sang so far in the competition.. and we listen to it everyday.. when i say everyday.. i do mean EVERYDAY! =p he has it on loop in his ipod.. the guy CAN sing! what can i say! =) he does look a bit funny though.. i refer to him as the lepricon.. teehee! i sure hope the stylists in AI can do something about it..grocery - i love going to the grocery with my pangga.. picking stuffs that we need for the week.. ingredients we need to cook our baon (we take turns in cooking to make things a lot easier.. hehehe.. and fair =p).. getting free goodies at times.. a few weeks ago, we got 50 eggs (i had to bake different breads and cakes to use it all up).. yesterday, we got a harry potter quidditch game.. havent opened it yet.. it's marked as a game for kids 7 and above.. im not pretty sure if we still fit that criteria.. but what the heck! =p
weddings - i know of two couples who are getting married next month (anshe & jeff, cookie & pads).. ours is in 4 months.. ive been stressing myself over our wedding to do list and how im not getting anything done.. =S if they can do it, so can we.. we just have to be mindful of the schedule and really stick to it.. and before we know it, it'll be all over.. =p
souvenirs - my brother is scouting for other possible souvenir items.. our first choice really was the fortune plant.. the dilemma was, would my family be able to prepare them in time for the wedding? it's a living thing.. it's not something that they could just wrap up months ahead.. =( he sent me an SMS this afternoon saying that he would be meeting up with marge remai.. the supplier where gewi got their wooden coasters.. not sure if my brother would like the coasters too, but i said it's his call.. as long as it fits the garden theme and he doesnt get anything ceramic, im cool with it..
ceremony - i sent the draft of our wedding ceremony to my younger brother.. i told him to have daddy and mommy show it to the pastor who would be officiating our wedding together with my uncle (who's also a pastor).. i read a couple of christian wedding ceremonies and put together a new one for us.. im hoping to get the feedback by next week..
programme - i didnt know that putting up the reception programme could be a lot of work.. i started it yesterday and im still not done.. =( the sequence, the songs, the names.. *sigh* i would have to consider the right songs for the right parts of the programme.. do we have to play games? the bouquet and garter toss? the releasing of the doves.. yeah the doves, i forgot all about this.. some people opt to release the doves at the church, right before they ride the limo.. but since we are getting married in a garden.. can we still do that? wouldnt it be awkward? i mean we need like a short intro for that since it's kinda off.. hmmmm.. o well, hopefully, id be able to share the reception programme by next week..
vacation - yup! vacation! my parents and younger brother are coming here on the 19th of april and will be staying for 5 days.. ive their itenerary all planned out.. hehehe.. from breakfast to the main activities even to the snacks.. pretty excited, huh.. =p
eyebags - i havent been getting the right amount of Zs for the past weeks.. too much thinking i guess.. now ive these dark rings around my eyes.. so dark that i could pass for a panda.. =(
eating - usually when im stressed out i can hardly eat.. but this time it's different.. ive been eating a lot.. whatever's in my drawer in the office.. in the shelves at home.. geez! id be gaining weight in no time! and that's a big NO-NO especially with the wedding coming up.. so next saturday, we're going on an 11KM hike.. wanna join? =D
